This site was developed internally by the City’s GIS team, which is a division nestled within the Information Technology Services Department. Similarly, all the products housed here were built internally by the GIS team with the assistance of our departmental GIS Technical Liaisons. Our objective is to assist in making your local government more efficient while empowering the Fort Lauderdale and Broward County communities with tools to access information otherwise not easily accessible. We strive to provide the most accurate, timely, and useful information to our communities through user-friendly graphical interfaces.

We utilize the latest in database technology, software development technology, as well as GIS technology from ESRI, the world leader in GIS, to increase the potential for your enjoyment while using our products. This website itself was inspired by ESRI’s Public Map Gallery template. We will endeavor to add new applications, new tools, new maps and more information in the months to come.
